Directions to Kate Collins Middle School Ball Field
Interstate 81 to Exit 225. At end of ramp turn onto Route 275 East. Proceed on Route 275, which will turn into Route 254. Proceed on Route 254 East to Waynesboro, approximately 11 miles.
Go through traffic light at intersection. Field and school are just ahead on the left.Directions to Other Valley Baseball League Playing Fields:
Covington – Casey Field
Interstate 81 to Interstate 64 West(Exit 191). Proceed on I-64 West to Covington(Exit 14). At the Stop Sign turn left. Proceed for approximately 1-1/2 miles. Casey Field is on the left.
Front Royal – Bing Crosby Stadium
Option 1:
From the North-Route 522 to Front Royal. After crossing two bridges over the Shenandoah River, turn left at first traffic light. After a sharp right curve and at the bottom of the hill(first traffic light), make a left turn onto Rte 522 Bypass. At the first intersection make a left turn. Stadium is on the left.
From the South-Route 522 Bypass into Front Royal. Turn right onto Eighth Street. Stadium is on the left.
Option 2:
Interstate 81 to Interstate 66(Exit 300). I-66 to Route 522 South into Front Royal. From the South-Route 522 Bypass into Front Royal. Turn right onto Eighth Street. Stadium is on the left.
Harrisonburg – Memorial Stadium (adjacent to Harrisonburg High School)
Interstate 81 to Route 33 West(Exit 247B). Make a left turn at first traffic light. The Street goes past James Madison University and the Hospital, and will go directly to the parking lot at the High School.
Haymarket Battle Cats – Battlefield Park (Battlefield High School)
Take I-81 to I-66 East. Take I-66 east to exit 40 to US 15 North. Travel approximately 2.5 miles and take a right at the traffic light onto Graduation Drive. The ballpark is off to the left behind the football stadium.
Luray – Caverns Field
US Route 340 North from Luray(Field approximately 100 yards on right after leaving town limits). US Route 340 South from Front Royal(Field is on the left just before entering Luray town limits). From Interstate 81 take Exit 264 to US Route 211 East. Follow US Route 211 East to Luray. In Luray, Exit onto US Route 340 North. Field approximately 100 yards on right after leaving town limits).
New Market – Rebel Park at the Old High School
Interstate 81 to New Market(Exit 264). Exit towards the town. Go to the Route 11 traffic light(second light). Make a left turn onto Route 11 North. Proceed through next traffic light. Turn right at next Street. The ‘Old School” and ballpark will be in front of you.
Staunton – John Moxie Memorial Stadium (in Gypsy Hill Park)
Interstate 81 to Exit 225. At end of the exit ramp turn onto Route 275 West. Go to first traffic light. Make a left turn onto Route 11 South. Proceed and stay on Business Route 11 into Staunton to Route 250 West(approximately 7 traffic lights). Make a right turn onto Route 250 West. Go through two traffic lights. Turn left where road splits in front of the School. Park entrance will be on right. Proceed around to parking lot.
Winchester – Bridgeforth Field (in Jim Barnett Park Complex)
From Interstate 81 North & South take Exit 313(Route 50W). Proceed past Shenandoah University and the National Guard Armory. Turn right at traffic light onto Pleasant Valley Road North. Turn right at next traffic light onto Cork Street. Go through the next traffic light and turn right into Bridgeforth Field. From Route’s 17S, 50E, and 522S, follow same directions. From Route’s 50W, and 522N, proceed into City. Turn left onto Cork Street and proceed to Bridgeforth Field.
Woodstock – Central High School Baseball complex
The River Bandits will play at the Central High School Baseball complex. The complex is located on Route 42 only three tenths of a mile off of Interstate 81.
